Today i learned a very important lesson!!!!

Let me give you the full gist!

Those of us in Lagos can attest to the fact that the rains are becoming heavier and heavier. Last night and this morning were no exception. I had the best night in a short while *Wink*.

Anyway, I managed to pull myself out of bed and get set for work. Usually, I go with a co-worker who lives nearby and his house is beside a Catholic Church, Catholic school and Catholic residence. Getting to his place, i met him ready to leave but there was an issue...

Genocide in Borno State??????????

I was going through one of my favorite blogs (Yep! I love to read what others write) and I saw an article about an alleged Genocide in Borno State. Apparently, the pictures were posted on the Facebook page of a popular Muslim Cleric and he claims Vigilante Groups would go into villages and round up the young men. Take them to fields, kill and bury them all.

I'm confused about a lot of things!

Strength of a Woman

Yesterday I went for a meeting with some Indians. On arrival, we were asked (very rudely)to leave because we had no appointment (I blame myself for this...even though I had no idea we were to have that meeting). 

My co-officer just took it in his stride and said "OK". We were about to leave the office when I thought to myself, "These guys cannot treat us like this was their land, we need to take control".

I thirst for Change!!

My pen in hand I begin to wonder
If all I have done, all that I ponder
Is enough to make the change I seek

Confession!!!

I have always wanted a blog of my own, somehow I never seem to go for one. Call it Laziness or pr-occupation, it just never happened. Today, however, I decided to make the move and Voila! I'm here.
