Hey guys,

It's been an overwhelming period for me. I've been away from you guys for so long I almost felt like remaining away. You know how you arrive late to class and contemplate missing class altogether, instead of facing the wrath of the teacher?

Yea! Well, multiply that by a whooping 1000 and maybe you would get how I feel about this.

I have very little words to say here, except that this young man has impressed me with his handcraft. This is something I see Foreigners do and I feel thrilled, wondering if such a thing can be done here. But this young man has been able to harness his craft to such an extent... Seeing is believing!!!

LESSONS FROM LINDA IKEJI

There are a few things I have learnt from the things happening to Linda Ikeji. For the very few who do not know what has been happening let me give you the Lowdown.

Linda had been accused by one Ayedee on twitter of Plagiarism. He claimed she posted his exclusives without asking for permission neither did she give him credit on her blog. He reported to Google, (owner of BLOGPOST) and apparently, google believes in Guilty until proven innocent. As such, Linda's blog was removed pending when she could prove her innocence

Today i learned a very important lesson!!!!

Those of us in Lagos can attest to the fact that the rains are becoming heavier and heavier. Last night and this morning were no exception. I had the best night in a short while *Wink*.

Anyway, I managed to pull myself out of bed and get set for work. Usually, I go with a co-worker who lives nearby and his house is beside a Catholic Church, Catholic school and Catholic residence. Getting to his place, i met him ready to leave but there was an issue...

Genocide in Borno State??????????

I was going through one of my favorite blogs (Yep! I love to read what others write) and I saw an article about an alleged Genocide in Borno State. Apparently, the pictures were posted on the Facebook page of a popular Muslim Cleric and he claims Vigilante Groups would go into villages and round up the young men. Take them to fields, kill and bury them all.

I'm confused about a lot of things!

Strength of a Woman

Yesterday I went for a meeting with some Indians. On arrival, we were asked (very rudely)to leave because we had no appointment (I blame myself for this...even though I had no idea we were to have that meeting). 

My co-officer just took it in his stride and said "OK". We were about to leave the office when I thought to myself, "These guys cannot treat us like this was their land, we need to take control".

I thirst for Change!!

Confession!!!

I have always wanted a blog of my own, somehow I never seem to go for one. Call it Laziness or pr-occupation, it just never happened. Today, however, I decided to make the move and Voila! I'm here.
